Feedback is widely recognized as an effective managerial tool for enhancing employee motivation and job satisfaction. This study was conducted to examine the role of feedback in enhancing the job satisfaction of employees at Balkh University. The research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive–analytical design. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire, and statistical analyses were carried out using SPSS. The descriptive findings indicated that the mean score for feedback was 13.62 (SD = 3.83), while the mean score for job satisfaction was 15.27 (SD = 4.85), suggesting a moderate to relatively high level for both variables. The results of the correlation analysis revealed a positive and statistically significant relationship between feedback and job satisfaction (r = 0.532, p < 0.001). Furthermore, regression analysis demonstrated that feedback accounted for 28.3% of the variance in job satisfaction. These findings indicate that timely, constructive, and supportive feedback can enhance employees’ sense of value, motivation, and organizational commitment, thereby contributing to higher levels of job satisfaction and improved organizational performance.
