I Don’t Know-ism and Its Effects on Learning in EFL Classes

There was a belief in the past that teaher is the only source who knows everything. He had to answer all the questions. Nowadays this belief changed and scholars created the term I don’t- know-ism. “It is an important educational attitude in versus of the traditional belief of teachers as knowledge providers and all-knowing authorities. In the past it was a tradition as teacher centered but the traditional idea and method changed with students’ center. Students are involved in the class activities and collaboration. In this article we are going to focus on the term of I Don’t know-ism as a power point for the students and teachers.
It is while students in a language class ask question and the teacher not sure to answer are don’t want to answer, instead give chance to students in rode to find the answer by search through media and books, in result students become more curious and help them to find the best answer. This approach helps students to more intelligent and researcher and teacher to be more relax.
